Stoïk Protect: deployment in 4 steps
The active prevention platform for Stoïk insureds.
01. Collecting the client contact
Before the contract is validated
What is the client contact used for at Stoïk?
Stoïk uses the client contact to:
Invite the client to access their Stoïk Protect space.
Serve as the preferred point of contact to notify the insured in the event of a "zero-day" vulnerability or an MDR alert (if this option was purchased).
Will my client receive notifications if I provide their contact details before the contract is validated?
No, Stoïk only invites insureds to Stoïk Protect by email after the contract is validated, and solely for cyber prevention purposes. The broker is always copied on these communications.
If I forgot to fill in the client contact before signature, where can I add it afterward?
Use the "More actions" > "Invite" button at the top right of the client record to invite them to Stoïk Protect.
02. Scheduling an appointment
With a cyber consultant, for a session to help set up the Stoïk Protect prevention tools
What are the two types of Stoïk Protect appointments?
The two types of appointments are:
Stoïk Protect group presentation: for lower-risk insureds. This is a webinar they are automatically registered for, which can easily be rescheduled if needed.
Stoïk Protect presentation: reserved for higher-risk insureds. They receive an email with a link to book an individual appointment, with the broker copied.
How do I know if a Stoïk Protect appointment has been scheduled?
The "Stoïk Protect" section of each client record shows whether an appointment has been scheduled. You are always invited to these appointments. You'll also find an overview of scheduled appointments in the "Prevention" tab of the Broker Space.
Where can I book an appointment for my client?
You can schedule appointments from the client record in the Broker Space. Note that low-risk clients are automatically invited to a group appointment, which can still be changed.
If my client's risk is low, can I still arrange a Stoïk Protect presentation appointment for them?
Yes, at the broker's special request, we can organize one on a case-by-case basis.
03. Stoïk Protect presentation appointment
With a cyber consultant, to explain how Stoïk Protect works
What is the purpose of the Stoïk Protect presentation appointment?
Three key points are covered during this appointment:
How the emergency hotline works in the event of an attack;
Deployment of Stoïk Protect tools, including MDR (if this option was purchased);
How the insured and Stoïk communicate to manage vulnerabilities or handle cyber advisory requests.
Who from the client's side should attend this appointment?
The topics covered require the presence of someone familiar with IT matters, generally the insured's IT provider.
As a broker, do I need to attend?
It's not mandatory. We always make clear that our cyber consultants are involved solely for risk reduction, and that the broker remains the main point of contact for any contractual questions.
04. Tool deployment
Check directly from your Broker Space
How can I see if my client has deployed all their tools?
From the client record, you can see the status of each tool: deployed, not deployed, or not applicable.
Who follows up with the insured if they haven't deployed their tools?
Stoïk sends automatic reminders if the client's IT contact is provided. The broker can also follow up directly from the client record by clicking "Send reminder".
What impact does deploying Stoïk Protect have on my client's insurance contract?
Full deployment allows the insured to benefit from a 25% reduction on their deductible. Special attention is required for clients whose Stoïk Protect tool deployment is listed as a warranty condition.
