# Daten, PII, PCI und PHI

Um den Begriff „personenbezogene Daten“ zu definieren, wendet Stoïk die Regel „eine Person = ein Datenelement“ an. Wenn Ihr Kunde den Vornamen, Nachnamen, die E-Mail-Adresse, die Postanschrift, Bank- oder medizinische Daten einer Person (sei es ein Mitarbeiter, Kunde oder Lieferant) enthält, gilt dies als ein einziges Datenelement.

Im Rahmen unserer individuellen Studien können wir Sie bitten, zwischen verschiedenen Datenarten zu unterscheiden, darunter:

* PII (Personally Identifiable Information): Daten, die eine Person direkt oder indirekt identifizieren können (Name und/oder Adresse und/oder Telefonnummer usw.);
* PCI (Payment Card Industry): Daten im Zusammenhang mit einer Zahlungskarte;
* PHI (Protected Health Information): personenbezogene Daten, die sich auf die körperliche oder geistige Gesundheit einer Person beziehen.
