# Datos, PII, PCI y PHI

Para definir el término "datos personales", Stoïk aplica la regla "una persona = un dato". Si su cliente posee el nombre, los apellidos, la dirección de correo electrónico, la dirección postal, datos bancarios o médicos de una persona (ya sea un empleado, cliente o proveedor), esto cuenta como un solo dato.

Como parte de nuestros estudios personalizados, podemos pedirle que distinga entre diferentes tipos de datos, incluidos:

* PII (Información de identificación personal): datos que pueden identificar directa o indirectamente a una persona (nombre y/o dirección y/o número de teléfono, etc.);
* PCI (Industria de tarjetas de pago): datos relacionados con una tarjeta de pago;
* PHI (Información sanitaria protegida): datos personales relativos a la salud física o mental de una persona.
