# Données, PII, PCI et PHI

Pour définir le terme « données personnelles », Stoïk applique la règle « une personne = une donnée ». Si votre client détient le prénom, le nom, l’adresse e-mail, l’adresse postale, des données bancaires ou médicales d’une personne (qu’il s’agisse d’un salarié, d’un client ou d’un fournisseur), cela compte comme une seule donnée.

Dans le cadre de nos études personnalisées, nous pouvons vous demander de distinguer différents types de données, notamment :

* PII (Personally Identifiable Information) : données pouvant identifier directement ou indirectement une personne (nom et/ou adresse et/ou numéro de téléphone, etc.) ;
* PCI (Payment Card Industry) : données liées à une carte de paiement ;
* PHI (Protected Health Information) : données personnelles concernant la santé physique ou mentale d’une personne.
