# Gegevens, PII, PCI en PHI

Om de term "persoonsgegevens" te definiëren, hanteert Stoïk de regel "één persoon = één gegeven". Als uw klant de voornaam, achternaam, het e-mailadres, postadres, bankgegevens of medische gegevens van een persoon bezit (of het nu een werknemer, klant of leverancier betreft), telt dit als één enkel gegeven.

Als onderdeel van onze maatwerkstudies kunnen we u vragen onderscheid te maken tussen verschillende soorten gegevens, waaronder:

* PII (Persoonlijk identificeerbare informatie): gegevens die een persoon direct of indirect kunnen identificeren (naam en/of adres en/of telefoonnummer, enz.);
* PCI (Betalingskaartindustrie): gegevens met betrekking tot een betaalkaart;
* PHI (Beschermde gezondheidsinformatie): persoonsgegevens betreffende de lichamelijke of geestelijke gezondheid van een persoon.
