# Wat is SPF en hoe configureer ik het?

## SPF-definitie

Sender Policy Framework (SPF) is een e-mailbeveiligingsprotocol dat wordt gebruikt om spam en e-mailspoofing tegen te gaan.

Specifiek stelt SPF een domein (bijv. yoursite.com) in staat om in zijn DNS-records aan te geven welke servers geautoriseerd zijn om namens het domein e-mails te verzenden. Wanneer een mailserver een e-mail ontvangt die beweert van yoursite.com afkomstig te zijn, controleert hij of de verzendende server op deze geautoriseerde lijst staat.

Als je bijvoorbeeld Gmail gebruikt of een dienst zoals Mailchimp om je e-mails te verzenden, zal je SPF-record zeggen: "Alleen servers van Gmail of Mailchimp mogen e-mails namens mijn domein verzenden."

## Configuratie

Ga naar `Externe scan` > `Resultaten` > `Configuratie en reputatie` om je SPF-gegevens te vinden.
