# How does compensation work?

Helping You to get back on your feet quickly is at the heart of our mission.

That is why our claims management team steps in as soon as the cyberattack is confirmed by CERT-Stoïk:

* We send your broker a list of items to send us so that we can calculate the cost of the damage.
* Once we have received these items, We assess the amount of the damage – an independent firm may be appointed to carry out the calculation.
* We send You a letter of acceptance setting out the compensation. Once the letter has been signed, the compensation can be paid.
