# Wat is SPF en hoe configureer ik het?

## SPF-definitie

Sender Policy Framework (SPF) is een e-mailbeveiligingsprotocol dat wordt gebruikt om spam en e-mailspoofing tegen te gaan.

Concreet stelt SPF een domein (bijv. yoursite.com) in staat om in zijn DNS-records te specificeren welke servers gemachtigd zijn om namens het domein e-mails te verzenden. Wanneer een mailserver een e-mail ontvangt die beweert van yoursite.com te komen, controleert hij of de verzendende server op deze geautoriseerde lijst staat.

Als u bijvoorbeeld Gmail of een dienst zoals Mailchimp gebruikt om uw e-mails te verzenden, zal uw SPF-record zeggen: "Alleen Gmail- of Mailchimp-servers mogen namens mijn domein e-mails verzenden."

## Configuratie

Ga naar `Externe scan` > `Resultaten` > `Configuratie en reputatie` om uw SPF-gegevens te vinden.
