# Manual employee import

If your organization does not use Google Workspace or Microsoft 365, import your employees from a CSV file.

## Prerequisites

* Manual import is enabled for your account. It is not self-service: email <protect@stoik.io> with the exact name of your email solution and whether it is on-premise or SaaS. Our team reviews the request.

{% hint style="info" %}
A manual provider shows the status **Active (degraded)**. This is expected: campaigns work, but there is no live directory sync. Employees are not added or removed automatically, so you keep the list up to date yourself.
{% endhint %}

1. Go to `Overview` > `Settings`.
2. In the providers table, click **Add a provider**.
3. Select **Manual import**. If you don't see it, contact your Stoïk Customer Success Manager.

{% step %}

### Fill in and upload the file

1. Fill in one row per employee and save the file as `.csv`.
2. In the pop-in, click **Upload** and select your file.
3. Fix any highlighted row (missing required field, invalid email format, unsupported language code) and upload again.
4. Once all rows are valid, click **Confirm**.

A **Manual** provider appears in your providers table with the status **Active (degraded)**. Your employees can now be included in campaigns.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.stoik.io/human-security/phishing/manual-import.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
