Setup CrowdStrike on mobile devices
CrowdStrike Falcon can be installed on smartphones via an MDM solution or manually using a QR code.
Via MDM
MDM deployment is available pre-configured for dozens of solutions, but remains compatible with solutions not listed.

We will provide you with a configuration file tailored to your MDM solution.
Integrate this file into your MDM console to trigger the installation on the target mobile devices.
Manual setup
Open Stoïk Protect, go to
Endpoint>Settings.

Under the
Mobilessection, clickDeploy.Add employees by entering their email addresses manually, or uploading a CSV file.
Each employee receives a personalized email containing a QR code.
On their mobile device, the employee can download the CrowdStrike Falcon app, and open it and scan the QR code received by email.

Done! The EDR automatically installs, and the device appears in your monitored hosts list in Stoïk Protect.
Good to know
What happens if a user uses their work phone for personal purposes?
On Android: Two separate environments can be configured via software separation (with two "Play Stores"). In this case, no personal activity is blocked, as CrowdStrike is only installed on one environment. (Please note: having two SIM cards is different from having two environments.)
On iOS: CrowdStrike does not have the ability to block applications. The installation is non-intrusive, focused on detecting risky behavior.
What exactly does the mobile EDR block? Only the following are blocked:
Malicious IP addresses and domains
Applications deemed dangerous
The features for viewing installed applications are not enabled.
